My room was huge, but the heating barely worked for three nights.

I loved the time in this property. The property was great with fairly friendly staff at reception desk.

It was in an absolutely perfect location close to an archaeological museum. A wide range of options nearby, I visited restaurants and bars close to the hotel. My room included tea/coffee and coffee. Private bathrooms, that included a bidet, were cleaned daily.

The traditional shabu-shabu was a culinary adventure that left us craving more! The location was spot on. Plus, the room had good pressure and hot water in the shower.
The vibe was a bit 'meh' with most staff overlooking us, though the breakfast lady was a star. The breakfast choices were lackluster with lukewarm drinks and tired public areas, but somehow it all still shined through the cracks.

Freshly made food options. Excellent and amazing location in Palermo, just off shops, bars, restaurants, Theatres, Hop On bus, Airport Shuttle bus, supermarket, historical sights and markets, shopping district and restaurants and bars: D

This hotel has everything that a city traveller could desire: excellent position, large clean rooms, comfortable beds, great shower, good breakfast and even though it's right in the centre, there is no noise.

Old furniture and malfunctioning air conditioning. Hot water issues plagued my stay, with multiple reports indicating that showers were cold due to a heating problem and room assignments didn't match expectations, leaving one guest in a dark, low-floor room without a balcony. The breakfast surprise at checkout, which wasn't included upfront, felt misleading and left a sour note on the stay.

Hotel Tonic was positive experience. Staff friendly, room very clean, on a hot day mineral water in minibar was really needed, at very reasonable price. Stayed only one night, a visit from Taormina. Stairs would have presented a problem if I'd had more than an overnight bag. Though I trust the staff would have helped. Breakfast was a positive surprise, good coffee from a real Italian espresso&cappucino machine, not automativ "press a button" -thing. Great location.

The hotel offers a fantastic buffet breakfast with ample choices. The room was outdated and lacked modern comforts.

Good location, easy to reach from train station, bus station, port; easy to reach both the old part of Palermo (Quatro Canti et al) and the new part.
It is noisier than one would expect: first, the street noise still gets through despite double class windows; second, plumbing is noisy and the location of the bathrooms makes you hear the neighbour's shower etc.; third, despite solid doors all the sounds from the corridors and reception desk can clearly be heard even three stories above the lobby.

Staff very helpful - both on reception and in catering/cleaning. Breakfast buffet excellent and service very good. Good all round service and support. Location very good - close to the main areas and the coach back to the airport - also close to the main bus routes for getting round Palermo and surrounding villages. If you go any closer into Palermo it becomes more noisy and more congested so being about 4/5 minutes away from the main centre helps particularly at night time. Area appears safe for tourists.
If I had a slight criticism it would be that the beds are a little hard for my personal preference - good for the back though.

The breakfast selection was diverse, with fresh pastries and a unique option of hot dogs.
The air conditioning in our room was quite inefficient, making the room uncomfortably warm at times.

nothing to mention for good
if you travel alone, never order this hotel! since the single room all at the side of the lift. The sound of lift is so terrible that you could not sleep at night, it is a really nightmare!!! I never book this hotel again!!!
